Need help?

We’re here to help. Find answers to the most commonly asked questions.

How do I create an online account?

Click Member Login at the top of any page on our member website, or go directly to register.jhhp.org/member. Fill out all required fields and follow prompts to confirm your email address and set up an optional authentication method.

Can I change my primary care provider (PCP)?

Yes. There are two ways to do this:

Option 1: Quick Actions

  1. From your Home Page, select Change PCP under Quick Actions.
  2. You’ll see a list of primary care providers near your home address who are accepting new patients.
  3. Once you find the PCP you want, click Select PCP.

Option 2: Find Care

  1. Log in and go to Find Care.
  2. Open the provider’s profile.
  3. Select Request PCP Change.

Either way, you’ll get a confirmation email and a notice in your account. The change generally takes 3–5 business days to process. You can also call Member Services to make the change over the phone or send us a secure message from your online account.

Can I send a secure message to Member Services?

Yes, if you prefer to send us a secure message instead of calling, log into your account. Go to Messages & Notifications, then Message Center, and select New Message. Choose the topic closest to your question and write your message. You’ll receive an email notification when a reply is ready. Don’t use messages for medical emergencies — call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

What if I forget my password or get locked out?

Select Forgot Password on the sign-in page and follow the prompts. If your account is locked after too many failed attempts, call Member Services. We’ll verify your membership before unlocking the account.

Can I get my Explanation of Benefits electronically?

Yes. Log into your online account by clicking Member Login or visit member.jhhp.org. Go to My Account, then Profile & Preferences, and set your paperless preference.
